Lynda Gale Floop (born May 20, 1997) is the resident genius of Mystery Investigations, often being the one to decipher the clues and solve the crimes.

Biography

Early Life

Lynda developed a fear of clowns at her 5th birthday party. At age 7, Lynda would dress up as her superhero alter ego, "Crime-Fighter." Due to her high intellect, Lynda was able to skip a few grades, leading her to begin High School by age 13.

Lynda came to Darrow High School in 2010, after being expelled from Delton Science School after getting into a fight with Murphy Jones after an "overheated debate" between the math club and the science club. She apparently won the fight, but came to regret her expulsion later in life.

Mystery Investigations Origin

In 2011, Lynda first met Jeff Hawluk, Kelly Seville and Mike Giggles at an audition for a band membership at Darrow High School, the four of them noticing each other after Mike, who was eating near them after failing to make the cut, pointed out that Jeff, Kelly and Lynda were all reading mystery novels while waiting for their turn to audition. After each also failed to make the cut, Mike's dog, Larry the Great Dane, caused a commotion at the audition, and Lynda, Jeff, Kelly and Mike came together for the first time to prevent Larry being taken away by animal control by solving a ghost mystery. Shortly afterwards, the four formed a band called "Mysteries Five", but later dropped their musical ambitions to solve mysteries under the name "Mystery Investigations" instead.

Mystery Investigations Travels

Lynda left Darrow City with Mystery Investigations in 2012.

During the 2013-2014 academic year, while Jeff, Mike and Larry went on a "guy's road trip", Kelly and Lynda remained in their Senior Year of High School.

Mystery Investigations Disbanded

After Mystery Investigations decided to retire from investigating in 2014, Lynda become a research scientist at NASA.

Mystery Investigations Reunited

Following their reunion in 2017, Lynda and the rest of Mystery Investigations decided to start traveling again in 2018.
